AI offers productivity in places where it is superior to humans so that we can make faster calculations, and solve complex problems. By dint of the power of AI, companies and people are using their skills more flexibly by removing wasting time.

It helps them communicate with others using smart devices and describe their surroundings. Tools like this can significantly help overcome daily obstacles for those with disabilities. While the adoption of AI technologies is increasing, challenges remain.

Artificial intelligence is widely used to provide personalized recommendations to people, based for example on their previous searches and purchases or other online behavior. AI is hugely important in commerce: optimizing products, planning inventory, logistics, etc.

AI can help eliminate the necessity for humans to perform tedious tasks. One of the main benefits of artificial intelligence is its ability to reduce the drudgery involved in many work tasks. Repetitive, tedious tasks in any job are the bane of many human workers worldwide.


AI applications that are in physical contact with humans or integrated into the human body could pose safety risks as they may be poorly designed, misused, or hacked. Poorly regulated use of AI in weapons could lead to loss of human control over dangerous weapons.

If AI surpasses humanity in general intelligence and becomes "superintelligent", then it could become difficult or impossible for humans to control. A second source of concern is that a sudden and unexpected "intelligence explosion" might take an unprepared human race by surprise.
