Summary of the Night in Warewolf Woods (by:- R.S. Stine).
In the story Night in Warewolf Woods written by R.S. Stine, we will get to know about a boy and his family and their summer vacation activities, How was their summer vacation? How they spent their time on that vacation? How did they enjoy their vacation?
A boy and his family planned a vacation in Werewolf Woods and his parents invited their best friend Mr. & Mrs. Morrises and their super nerd son, Todd, to share the cabin with them this year.
They already parked their car beneath a string of colored lanterns hanging over the entrance to WoodsWorld. After reaching there they all come into the Warewolf Woods. He is gawky, stringy-haired, and wears thick black-rimmed glasses.
His minivan and the Morrises’ car both roll up the gravel drive next to Evergreen Cabin. He gazes around. Nothing has changed since last summer.
The woods behind your cabin are still dark and deep. The sparkling blue lake in front of the cabin is as smooth as glass. A narrow, sandy beach stretches into an easy curve around the shoreline of the lake. The sun has almost set, leaving behind a fiery pink-orange glow in the sky. There’s enough daylight left for you to notice a note taped to the screen door of your cabin.
Today's 8 O'clock in the evening they had a campfire program and in that campfire they watched.
He watches Todd unload his stuff from the car. As he pulls out a red tin box, three very large, red-haired boys bike up your driveway. They’re the Murphy brothers — Jess, Buck, and Sharky.
“Welcome to WoodsWorld, Nerdo,” the oldest brother, Sharky, taunts Todd. Sharky is fifteen. He looks as if he has been lifting weights since he was two years old. Last summer a kid told you that Sharky got his nickname because “getting into a fight with Sharky is like trying to survive a shark attack.”
He take the red tun box and through it to his brother and after that Todd shouted and start crying. He says to Todd that he will go and take his box back from the campfire.
He went at the campfire site with Todd, because he is scared of the cabin.
They have seeing that the giant campfire is already started and after that, they heard a mysterious story from the three boys Jess, Buck, and Sharky.
Sharky telling that story to them. And after they have getting some news and that news was that, "At first you may think you are talking to a friend. Then, when the full moon comes out from behind a cloud, you’ll see hair begin to grow on your friend’s face. Fangs take the place of teeth. A voice that once was human turns to a beastly howl.”
Sharky pauses and lowers his voice to a whisper. “Look!” he says. “The full moon is out tonight. This is a perfect night for the werewolves of WoodsWorld to appear. No one is safe here. Not now. Not ever.” Sharky laughs an evil laugh as he finishes his story.
As clouds cover the full moon, the campfire party breaks up. Everyone says good night.
Some of them had discussed the wolves have you ever seen the Wolf in this camp area?
After that, He ask for Todd's box and he had gotten a task for the box back for Todd. He accepted that task and he follows the steps for that task. He burns a candle and put that into a jar, he moves forward in that darkness and he trying to find that box that night because the boys told him that only today's night he has to find that box because wolves love the red color and the box was in red color.
After that, he heard a sound and he got scared. Suddenly he noticed that someone put a hand on his shoulder and he was getting much scared after that, he heard a voice and that was Todd. Todd says to them that they both want to fund that box because that box is mine and I should help you to find it.
After they have seen something terrible and they get scared but they decided to find that box.
Finally, they noticed a cave. "That cave is not there," says Todd. But someone calls them from inside of that cave and Todd says him that it is not safe to go there for that box.
He went inside the cave and when he tried to move back from the quicksand he cried and tell Todd, that was why he is not pulling him from the quicksand when he got out of the quicksand then he saw that his friend had transformed into a Warewolf. He says to his friend not to see the full moon but he is not listening to anything.
You hold Todd down. The beam of moonlight slowly disappears as a cloud passes over the full
moon. As the light goes away, so do Todd’s werewolf features.
“That’s it!” he exclaims. “Now I understand what we have to do.”
“Sharky was wrong when he said no one is safe here,” he tells Todd. “I know what we have to do.
There is one way to keep ourselves safe. The werewolf moon has no power over us as long as we stay out of its light!”
“You mean the light of the full moon is what started turning me into a werewolf?” Todd asks curiously.
“Exactly,” he replies. “And if we stay out of the moonlight we’ll be safe from werewolves. Do you get it?”
A low growl answers.
“Todd? Was that you?” he whispered.
This time they again a sound that was not Todd. That sound came from the other two persons, but they are already transformed into the Warewolf and they are comes near them.
In the second part...
He was getting confused that who was howling? Todd or that Werewolves?
They decided to find a way to escape from there and save them from the Werewolves in that forest. After some time they found a tunnel and a giant hole to get inside of the tunnel, but he heard howling and he again got confused but this time he was not Todd. Todd told to him jump into that hole but that Werewolves were too close od them.
They applied a strategy that they started howling with them and the werewolves were getting so far after listening to that sound but they didn't stop howling till the dark night was turned into a beautiful morning. This time again they save their lives from the werewolves from that full moon.
